It is with great emotion and joy that the Wandering, a Rohingya story team received three Iris Awards in Montreal at the Gala Québec Cinéma (Best Documentary, Best Editing, and Best Cinematography), as well as the Canadian Screen Award for Best Documentary in Canada. It marks the very first time that a Quebec film—across all genres—has won both the Iris Award and the Canadian Screen Award for Best Film simultaneously. These honours shine a spotlight on the entire filmmaking team, but above all allow the film and its subject to reach an even larger audience. Thanks!
