The museum exhibition Finding Refuge offers a sensitive and deeply human immersion into the lived realities of the Rohingya people. Through an immersive audio experience, visitors are invited to explore the life journey of a refugee through his own words and memories. Conceived and produced by MÖ FILMS and artists Mélanie Carrier, Olivier Higgins, and Karine Giboulo, in collaboration with the Musée de la civilisation. Presented from March 2025 to January 2026. Presented at the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec from January 2020 to February 2022, Wandering a Rohingya Story is a multidisciplinary immersive exhibition installed in the museum’s former prison cells. Conceived by filmmakers Mélanie Carrier and Olivier Higgins in collaboration with photographer Renaud Philippe, and produced by MÖ FILMS, the exhibition brings together video projections, photography, children’s drawings, dioramas, poems, and soundscapes. In 2020, it was awarded the Jury’s Favourite Award by the Société des musées du Québec.
