In the short documentary portrait <em>Olivier Higgins: Cinema as Encounter<\/em>, produced by T\u00e9l\u00e9-Qu\u00e9bec as part of <em>La Fabrique culturelle<\/em>, Olivier Higgins reflects on the journey that led to the creation of <a href=\"https:\/\/mofilms.ca\/en\">M\u00d6 FILMS<\/a> and on the central role that human stories play in his work.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The interview revisits the founding adventure of <a href=\"https:\/\/mofilms.ca\/en\/films\/asiemut\"><em>Asiemut<\/em><\/a>, a documentary born from an 8,000-kilometre cycling journey between Mongolia and India undertaken by filmmakers Olivier Higgins and M\u00e9lanie Carrier. It also explores the many award-winning documentary films that followed. The portrait highlights a filmmaking approach rooted in listening, humanism, curiosity, and meaningful encounters with others.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The film also looks at the long-standing relationship developed with Mohammed Shofi, narrator of the documentary <em>Wandering: A Rohingya Story<\/em>.
