A significant recognition for this project, which resonates both locally and internationally.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"1okq70z\" data-start=\"520\" data-end=\"571\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\" role=\"text\"><strong data-start=\"523\" data-end=\"571\">A project recognized by the digital industry<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"573\" data-end=\"786\">Selected among the most innovative projects of the year, <em data-start=\"217\" data-end=\"233\">Finding Refuge<\/em>\u00a0is featured in the official list of finalists unveiled in April 2026, alongside outstanding works in digital art and immersive experiences.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"788\" data-end=\"925\">This double nomination highlights the project\u2019s reach, firmly rooted in Qu\u00e9bec\u2019s cultural landscape while also extending internationally.<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"1awrru9\" data-start=\"932\" data-end=\"976\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\" role=\"text\"><strong data-start=\"935\" data-end=\"976\">An immersive and sensitive exhibition<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"978\" data-end=\"1267\">Designed as an immersive sound journey, <em data-start=\"217\" data-end=\"233\">Finding Refuge<\/em>\u00a0invites visitors to step into the story of Mohammed Shofi, a refugee who fled Myanmar with his family. The experience foregrounds a sensitive narrative approach, carried by sound and listening, at the heart of the exhibition design.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1269\" data-end=\"1306\">Through this installation, we aim to:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1308\" data-end=\"1606\">\n<li data-section-id=\"1iefxel\" data-start=\"1308\" data-end=\"1388\">convey the human reality of exile through an intimate and embodied narrative<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"194jzr7\" data-start=\"1389\" data-end=\"1497\">immerse visitors in an experience where they are guided and become witnesses to Mohammed Shofi\u2019s journey<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1aatrlw\" data-start=\"1498\" data-end=\"1606\">create a space for listening and encounter that fosters empathy, recognition, and intercultural dialogue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"1ipw4n8\" data-start=\"1613\" data-end=\"1642\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\" role=\"text\"><strong data-start=\"1616\" data-end=\"1642\">About the NUMIX Awards<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1644\" data-end=\"1855\">The NUMIX Awards have been recognizing excellence in digital and immersive content in Qu\u00e9bec since 2010.
